Come to Top of the Hill RV Resort to help us provide our guests with an experience that they will remember.
We are taking applications for potential Work Campers with trade talents and/or ability to make a long term commitment, additionally we are taking applications for Summer Commitments. Please keep in mind that we are looking to maintain a strong TEAM, so only team players need apply!
Our Work Camper positions are for trade of 28 hours per week, which is four 7 hour shifts per week and these shifts can be divided between each person in any combination for Work Camper couples. The compensation for the 28 hours is your accommodations which include a full hookup site including utilities, propane deliveries, laundry, and a 10% General Store discount, but does NOT include pay. Additionally, Top of the Hill RV Resort pays a $250.00 bonus for committing to and completing a full year of service (one bonus for one year of 28 hours of weekly service being completed).
The three possible positions and their typical duties:
Maintenance Work Campers must provide our guests with an experience beyond their expectations! Maintenance duties include escorting guests to their sites for check-ins, general maintenance, resort cleanup, trash pick-up, restroom maintenance, mowing, trimming, landscaping, cleaning the pool and hot tub, and various projects and other duties as needed, plus volunteering to help with special events.
Housekeeper Work Campers must provide our guests with an experience beyond their expectations! Housecleaning duties include thorough cleaning of all of our public buildings and cabins, and other duties as needed, plus volunteering to help with special events.
The following information is included per IRS rules on lodging/compensation (irc1.119 (b)): In order to properly perform your duties, you are required to accept employer provided accommodations as defined elsewhere. The value of the accommodations will NOT be included in your gross income and therefore NOT reported to the IRS.
Top of the Hill RV Resort values our Work Campers, and we take our commitment to you very seriously.
