Come to Top of the Hill RV Resort to help us provide our guests with an experience that they will remember.

An EXPERIENCED COUPLE is preferred, however we sometimes can accept singles as well.  We currently have a position available to start immediately.  We also have some additional positions available for Spring and Summer.

Each Workamper would agree to work 7 hours per day, 2 days a week for a couple or 4 days a week for an individual, for a combined total of 28 hours per week (7 hrs/day x 2 days/week x 2 people = 28 hrs/wk for couple or 7 hrs/day x 4 days/week x 1 person = 28 hrs/wk for an individual).  The 7 hours shifts will be assigned monthly and will include 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 8 PM shifts.  Compensation includes a full hookup site with utilities including propane deliveries, laundry, and a 10% General Store discount in exchange for 28 hours per week.  Although a telephone hookup is provided, telephone services are not included.   If extra shifts are available and you volunteer to work the extra shifts, the pay is $7.00 per hour.  As noted below, the value of your site will be excluded from your gross income for federal tax purposes.  Additionally, Top of the Hill RV Resort pays a $250.00 per person bonus for committing to and completing a full year of service.

Keep in mind that outside maintenance is hot work in the summer.  The typical duties include:

Providing our guests with an experience beyond their expectations!

Taking reservations, cashiering, stocking shelves, taking inventory, and preparing lists for goods needed, keeping the General Store, cabins, and other facilities clean.

Assisting guests checking in/out of the resort, computer based registration plus general administrative duties.

Escorting guests to their sites, mowing, trimming, cleaning the pool, and watering the grounds.

General maintenance duties, including: resort cleanup, trash pickup, restroom maintenance, various projects as needed.

Volunteering with special events: hot dog roasts, pancake breakfasts, etc.

The following information is included per IRS rules on lodging/compensation (irc1.119 (b)): In order to properly perform your duties, you are required to accept employer provided accommodations as defined elsewhere in this agreement.  The value of the accommodations will not be included in your gross income.

Top of the Hill RV Resort values our Workampers, and we take our commitment to you very seriously.  If you are interested in applying for our Workamper position, please fill out the following form and our Manager will call you for a phone interview:
